Let's be honest, the old SU carbs on the Rover V8 have had their day.  I like to call carbs controlled fuel leaks.. and we all know they can be out of control too !   The early Range Rover flapper injection system isn't much better either, not to mention rendered unserviceable these days.

What's in the kit?

Everything you need to make the swap without the head scratching.   Our kits can come with 8 new Bosch injectors, a wideband O2 controller, idle air control, and your choice of ECU — Megasquirt MS3 Pro mini for sequental fuel, Microsquirt AMP'd for batch fire, or even Haltech if you prefer.  The premium kit even includes a modified distributor for full sequential fuel and ignition control, which is a big deal on a motor that's been running carbies since the 1970s, or early injexted batch fire since the 1980s.

Once it's set up properly your old Rover V8 will start first time, idle smoothly, and make noticeably more power than it ever did on carbs. It's also dead reliable — no more fuel bowls leaking on a hot engine or float levels drifting on you.  I've converted many Rovers that have started with 20 litres per 100km, and I get them down to 12litres per 100km.  Now you'll be driving an efficient V8 that not only runs to perfection, but produces loads more torque through the rev range.
